Have been hearing that phrase like forever ..
people tend to say time heals all wounds
but does it really?
I went through a tough time in the recent years
family and friends all said the same thing
time heals ...but it is going to be a while
i was sceptical
i did not believe them
and hell bent on being miserable
but now, i come to realize
that they are right!
i tend to be sceptical
as if the whole world has turned on me
little that i realised that
things happen for a reason
when that time comes
when i realised that i am indeed lucky
that is when all the misery
all the heartache and disappointments are gone
that is when i know
fate did not deal me a hard blow
but it gave me a new beginning
a new hope ...
a new lease of life ...
which is better than the one that i left behind
for that, I am thankful
as if the whole world has turned on you
little that you realised that
things happen for a reason
when that time comes
when you realised that you are indeed lucky
