Rambutan

Like I mentioned in previous posting, we had lots of rambutan trees and all of these trees bear fruits this season....as a result, most of it has gone to waste ...we did not sell them, just giving them away to friends and families ..

This one is the sweetest (in my opinion, although my dad disagree!) rambutans of all ...hehehe

 

and my aunty stopped by the orchard, and she just stood underneath the tree to enjoy the fruits ...we don't need ladders, oe anything like that ...the rambutans is within reach ...several branches were actually so laden with fruits that they actually touch the grown!

During Boxing Days, our old family friends came for a visit (we have known each other since I was very little - we used to be neighbours!) ..and we went rambutan-picking in the rain! It was kinda fun ...

 

and today my mum and dad went back to the village ..and brought back with them a sackfull of rambutan - dad said that's the last of our rambutans ...till the next season ...
